A Unesco Biosphere Reserve since 1977, according to BBC Travel, the best place for hiking in Andalusia.

Two whitewashed villages serve as the gateway to our Yoga retreat center.

Zahara de la Sierra is one of the most striking towns in Andalusia, perched on a steep peak at the top of the park, at the northern end of the park. And El Gastor, also known as the Balcony of the White Villages of Andalusia, its narrow passages that connect the villages lead through the high mountain passes, approaching some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Spain.

In this wonderful place, we will practice yoga and meditation. In addition, we will offer Yoga Nidra sessions, chant mantras and go silent hiking with meditative stops. There will be smiles, friends, sunshine, interesting conversations under the stars, and free time to enjoy nature.

Little by little we will detach ourselves from the different patterns and conditioning with a specially designed program focused on cardiac intelligence - awakening energy and feeling from the heart to bring us to a state of calm, acceptance, love, embracing everything that can awaken .

Sandra teaches Hatha Yoga classes, Vinyasa style - Dynamic Yoga that covers not only the physical aspects of yogic practice, but also spiritual purification; concentrating the practice in that union of body-mind-spirit through asanas, pranayamas, mantras, relaxation and meditation.

At the same time, Sandra also works with sound whose objective allows us to connect with our own sound, which allows us to find our space of internal silence, peace, serenity and joy.

Through our work, we would like to remember that Yoga is a path that must be followed with short but firm steps, cultivating patience and respect for oneself and for others, a learning process, a path towards the interior, the awakening of awareness…

These are the reasons to go to our yoga retreat:

  1. Disconnect from routine and stress:

The best way to eliminate day-to-day stress, whether due to work or studies, is to disconnect from what you normally do, including the activities you normally do on weekends, and change the air, practicing activities that precisely seek to reduce stress, such as relaxation techniques, yoga, meditation, etc.

  1. Connect with yourself

Once you begin to disconnect from stress, from the mental burden that we all usually carry, you begin to be able to connect with yourself, with the calm, silence or the sound of nature, it is time to find yourself in the present moment, to feel yourself.

  1. Connect with nature

During the year we are usually quite far from nature, so, if you can choose, it is best that you go to a retreat where you know you are going to enjoy contact with nature, in the mountains, and do some activity, a walk or meditation outside.

  1. Nourish your body with healthy foods

Since you have decided to spend a weekend taking care of yourself, with yoga, meditation, contact with nature, also take the opportunity to eat in the healthiest way possible, since what you eat, its quality and freshness, are essential to feel good . We offer nutritious meals one hundred percent organic and vegetarian.

  1. Find other people

Although it may not be the main reason why you are going on retreat, it is true that it is a special occasion to meet people who are looking for the same thing as you, peace, relaxation, calm, and that in that search, meeting is how much less magical.

  1. Recharge the batteries

All the above reasons added together give as a result that, when you reach the end of the retreat, apart from probably making you want to stay and live in that wonderful place away from the noise and the city, you feel full of energy, with the batteries full. to eat the world and to take your life with other perceptions !!
